Trestle bench
Description
Super sleek and suitably solid this cleverly designed bench can unquestionably hold its own. It works exceptionally well as a stand alone piece or as a perfect companion to the Lantic Table that utilises the same meticulous dovetail joinery details.
The subtle shaping of the boards have been carefully designed with comfort in mind whilst also retaining that fresh, contemporary edge which is becoming a bit of a signature Mena trait.
Seating five people, the Lantic Bench is your versatile friend. Whether inside or outdoors this bench happily blends in with its surroundings and completes any space with its enduring style.

Dovetail
In detail
Identical to the Lantic Table, the bench also uses traditional sliding dovetail joints to join the top planks to the legs. Renowned for their strength, dovetail joints are resistant to being pulled apart while allowing slight movement as the weather changes. They work with the movement of the wood, tightening as the component pieces twist and contort adding tension and thereby increasing in strength.
