A grill in your kitchen does not sit on its own, so why do we use our BBQ in isolation in the garden?
The addition of a well thought out unit can transform the outdoor cooking experience; a generous worktop area for food preparation, charcoal and utensils at hand just below, simple things that would be a necessity for any indoor kitchen, but when cooking outdoors, we seem happy to struggle.
A solid oak frame is the structural backbone which supports the custom cast concrete worktop – this unit is no lightweight!
The tongue and groove panels and their exposed stainless steel fixings give a contemporary appearance and also allow for the seasonal expansion of the timbers, this was an important factor in creating a piece which could be left outside all year round.
