Security, privacy and a statement about your garden

Working closely with the client and their design brief we were proud to design and build this large, focal entrance.

With a traditional Cornish farmhouse door as the inspiration, we played with the form, increasing the timber dimensions and adding a striking diagonal brace to give the door a more contemporary feel, more fitting of its surroundings.

We were extremely privileged to be able use some incredible timber on this project. Windfall Oak from an ancient Cornish estate, planked on a water-powered sawmill and air dried for many years before entering our workshop to be reborn. From tree to finished job, the Oak travelled no more than 30 miles. Sustainability in its purest form.
